Introduction
Thermoplastic acrylic resin is synthetized by different acrylic monomers, its main advantages are the stability of light and its resistance to hydrolysis. In general, during synthesis, thermoplastic resins use a high content of methyl methacrylate in their polymerization backbone chain to provide excellent hardness and external durability, while improving the wettability of pigments and/or providing cross-linking or self-crosslinking capabilities, other acrylic monomers can also be used to give the acrylic resin the ability to sulfonate or phosphoric acid functionalities.
