The Chemours Teflon Industrial Coatings Specialty System is a series of high-performance coating systems launched by Chemours, which is a special blend of fluoropolymers such as PTFE, PFA and FEP. The following is a detailed introduction:
Ingredients and characteristics: Specialty system coatings are special blends of PTFE, PFA and FEP, combining the advantages of several fluoropolymers, with excellent demoulding and wear resistance, complying with the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations on food contact, and can withstand continuous use temperatures up to 550°F (288°C).
Coating selection:
Coating system: relatively simple, can provide basic protection and performance in some scenarios where the coating requirements are not particularly demanding, and has certain non-stick and corrosion resistance.
Coating Silverstone system: Silverstone system is a more classic coating structure, usually with better comprehensive performance, including better non-stick, wear resistance and chemical resistance, can maintain stable performance in a variety of industrial environments, and is suitable for equipment and components with high coating performance requirements.
Coating ceramic reinforcement process system: Ceramic reinforcement components are added to the coating to further improve the hardness, wear resistance and high temperature resistance of the coating, so that it can provide more reliable protection and extend the service life of the equipment under some harsh industrial conditions, such as high friction and high temperature environments.
Application field: Mainly used in the food processing industry, to meet the requirements of food processing equipment for non-stick, easy cleaning and compliance with food safety standards.
