The tapered drill rod is used for rock drilling, blasting holes and other drilling works in the quarries, coal mines, traffic and other constructions. Generally, the lightduty rock drill uses 7° taper or smaller taper angle, the heavyduty rock drill mainly uses 12 taper angle.
The tapered drill rods are used for Penumatic rock drill and Hydraulic rock drill.Medium hard to hard and abrasive rock formations. Such as Y24, Y26, YT24, YT27, YT28, YT29 and YN27C rock drill.
