1.Principle of wave guardrail

(1)Corrugated beam guardrail is the main form of semi-rigid guardrail. It is a continuous structure with corrugated steel guardrail panels spliced together and supported by columns.

(2)It uses the physical deformation of the soil foundation, columns and beams to absorb the energy generated by the collision, and forces the out-of-control vehicle to change its driving direction, return to the normal road driving direction, and prevent the vehicle from running off the road. This plays a role in protecting vehicles and passengers and reducing accident losses.

2.Classification

(1)According to the installation location, it can be divided into roadside guardrails and central divider guardrails.

(2)According to the anti-collision level, it can generally be divided into Class A and Class B. Class A guardrails are reinforced types and are suitable for use on particularly dangerous sections of roadside, while Class B guardrails are used on dedicated highways.

Commonly used roadside corrugated beam guardrails can be divided into five levels: B, A, SB, SA, and SS according to the anti-collision level. Highway anti-collision guardrails are typical cold-formed steel products.

(3)According to the surface treatment, it is divided into two types: hot-dip galvanized corrugated guardrail and galvanized spray-coated guardrail.

The corrugated guardrail with plastic spraying has better anti-corrosion performance. It is hot-dip galvanized first and then sprayed with plastic to achieve double anti-corrosion effect and beautify the environment.

(4)According to color classification, it can be divided into galvanized silver white, plastic spray green, white, blue, etc. Customized colors are acceptable.

(2)Round column: diameter 140/114mm, column wall thickness 4/4.5mm, column length 1200mm/ 1500mm/ 1800mm/ 2150mm.

Square column: side length 130mm, wall thickness 6mm.

(3)Column cap: thickness 2/3mm, hole spacing 100/150mm, diameter 114/140mm.

(4)Anti-blocking block: 196*178*200mm, thickness is divided into 3mm/4mm/4.25mm/4.5mm. Bracket: 300mm long, 70mm wide, 4mm/4.5mm thick.

(5)Bolts: M16*170 / M16*150 / M16*50 / M16*42 / M16*35
