The Single Cylinder Hydraulic Cone Crusher is a type of cone crusher that utilizes hydraulic technology to provide efficient and reliable crushing performance. Its operation and working principle can be explained as follows:
Operation
Power On: When the crusher is powered on, an electric motor drives the eccentric shaft to rotate through a belt pulley or coupling. This rotation causes the crushing cone to swing and exert a crushing motion on the materials fed into the crushing chamber.
Material Feeding: The materials to be crushed are evenly and continuously fed into the crushing chamber from the feeding hopper or conveyor. The feeding rate and quantity can be controlled by adjusting the feeding mechanism, ensuring a steady and controlled flow of material into the crusher.
Crushing Process: As the eccentric shaft rotates, the mantle (crushing cone) moves in a pendulum-like motion, squeezing and crushing the materials against the concave liner (bowl liner). This compression and crushing action create the required size reduction of the material.
Discharge: The crushed material is discharged from the bottom of the crushing chamber through the discharge opening. The size of the discharge opening can be adjusted to control the final product size.
Working Principle
Hydraulic System: The Single Cylinder Hydraulic Cone Crusher is equipped with a hydraulic system that plays a crucial role in the crusher's operation. The hydraulic system consists of hydraulic cylinders, hydraulic motors, hydraulic pressure and flow control valves, and an accumulator.
Crushing Process Control: The hydraulic system controls the crushing process and ensures the crusher operates at optimal settings. When there is an overload or iron passing through the crushing chamber, the hydraulic cylinder will release the pressure to allow the materials to pass through, protecting the crusher from damage.
Adjustment of Crushing Settings: The hydraulic system also enables the adjustment of the crusher's crushing settings. By controlling the hydraulic motor, the operator can adjust the position of the crushing cone, changing the gap between the mantle and concave liner. This adjustment allows for precise control over the final product size and shape.
Safety Features: The hydraulic system incorporates safety features to protect the crusher and personnel. For instance, if the hydraulic pressure exceeds the preset limit, the system will automatically activate an alarm or stop the crusher to prevent potential damage or accidents.
