PVD Chrome Vacuum Metallizing Machine, PVD Plating in Hexavalent Chrome (Cr6+) Electroplating Replacement
Customers love bright, shiny and metallic look of chrome finishing for the consuming products, either bathroom fittings, faucets or to car bumpers bright metal finishes are everywhere.
Traditionally these parts are Chrome Electroplated, Chrome plating as a stable, excellent shiny decoration, corrosion prevention and abrasion wearing film surface treatment, in the last decades, it extensively be used for many industries. However, the hexavalent Chrome (Cr6+) electroplating damaged health of operators and ruined our environment. So, trivalent Chrome (Cr3+) was used to taken place of the (Cr6+) plating. With the higher requirement of quality and lower production cost demands by manufactures, now, an alternative solutions to replace expensive cost of (Cr3+) electroplating, the most important is without negative health impact and environmentally hazard effluence has been required.
When this subject come to PVD, it solved. Royal Technology has designed and developed the standardized PVD coating equipment used for various substrate materials: ABS, ABS + PC, PA, Brass, Brass Alloy, Metal Steel, Zinc Alloy, Aluminum and Aluminum Alloy etc. With the PVD chrome processing, it changed the traditional process treatment in automotive industry, transportation vehicles, clocks, tooling instruments, hardware, bathroom and kitchen appliance and other many parts need protective layer and aesthetic coatings.
PVD Chrome Vacuum Metallizing Machine General Information:
RTAC1616-SPDC PVD metalizer is designed to replace the electroplating chrome process, it is
equipped with multi-arc vacuum coating sources and DC sputtering cathodes, which available for all plastic and metal substrate products PVD chrome plating.
The PVD plating process is between base and top lacquer thermal heating painting process. We can get high quality of Chrome color, stainless steel color and gold colors.
Except the high finishing surface, abrasion wearing and anti-corrosion properties, the hardness also can achieve up to 4H.
Besides, Polycold device is for option especially for ABS parts processing.
