Stainless steel piston rod is mainly used in hydraulic pneumatic, engineering machinery, automobile manufacturing piston rod.The piston rod is processed by rolling. Because the surface layer has residual compressive stress, it is helpful to close the micro-cracks on the surface and hinder the expansion of erosion.The corrosion resistance of the surface can be improved, and the fatigue crack can be delayed, so the fatigue strength of the cylinder rod can be increased.Through rolling forming, the rolling surface forms a layer of cold work hardening layer, which reduces the elastic and plastic deformation of the contact surface of the grinding pair, thus improving the wear resistance of the cylinder rod surface, and avoiding the burn caused by grinding.After rolling, the surface roughness value decreases and the fit properties are improved.At the same time, the friction damage to the sealing ring or sealing parts is reduced when the cylinder rod piston moves, and the whole service life of the cylinder is improved.Rolling process is a kind of high efficiency and high quality process measure, the diameter of 160mm Jingwei brand cutting rolling head (45 seamless steel pipe) as an example to prove the rolling effect.After rolling, the surface roughness of cylinder rod decreases from Ra3.2~6.3um to Ra0.4~0.8um, the surface hardness of cylinder rod increases by about 30%, and the surface fatigue strength of cylinder rod increases by 25%.The service life of cylinder can be increased by 2-3 times, and the efficiency of rolling process can be increased by about 15 times compared with grinding process.The above data show that the rolling process is efficient and can greatly improve the surface quality of cylinder rod.
