Steps to create embossed labels:
Choose your stamp: Select the stamp with the design or text you want to use for your label. Make sure it is clean and free from any previous ink residue.
Prepare the surface: Decide on the surface where you want to create the label. It can be paper, cardstock, or any other suitable material. Ensure the surface is clean and smooth.
Ink your stamp: Press the stamp onto the embossing ink pad, making sure to cover the entire design with a thick layer of ink. Press firmly but avoid rocking the stamp.
Stamp the surface: Carefully position the inked stamp onto the surface where you want to create the label. Apply even pressure to ensure a clear and complete transfer of the design.
Apply embossing powder: While the ink is still wet, immediately sprinkle embossing powder over the stamped image. Make sure the powder covers the entire design. Gently tap off any excess powder.
Remove excess powder: Use a small brush or your finger to remove any stray powder that might be sticking to the surface where you don't want it.
Heat the embossing powder: Turn on your heat tool or heat gun and hold it a few inches above the stamped image. Move the heat tool in a circular motion to evenly heat the powder. The heat will melt the powder, causing it to fuse and create a raised, glossy effect. Be careful not to overheat or scorch the paper.
Let it cool: Allow the embossed label to cool for a few seconds until the melted powder solidifies and hardens.
Clean your stamps: Before moving on to the next stamp or project, clean your stamps with a stamp cleaner or mild soap and water. Dry them thoroughly.
