Description
Popular solar trackers in the market has 3 types:passive, active and open loop trackers which is distinguished from drive and sensing or positioning system that they incorporate.
Passive trackers: The tracker has a gas sensing device and the tracker will move across the sky by using suns radiation to heat gases.
Active trackers: The tracker has an electric or hydraulic drives and some type of gearing or actuator. Good future 1P single row solar panels tracker belongs to this type of active trackers. It’s also the most popular type in the market right now.
Open loop trackers: Use no sensing but instead determines the position of the sun through pre-record data for a particular site.
