What is Stainless Steel U Bend Tube?
Stainless steel U-tube is also known as anisotropic heating tube. In the high-temperature stainless steel seamless tube uniformly distributed high-temperature resistance wire in the gap part densely filled with thermal conductivity and insulation properties are good crystalline magnesium oxide powder, this structure is not only advanced, high thermal efficiency, and uniform heating, when the high-temperature resistance wire in the electric current through the resulting heat through the crystalline magnesium oxide powder diffusion of the surface of the metal tube, and then transferred to the heated parts or water to achieve the purpose of heating.
Simple structure, high thermal efficiency, good mechanical strength, good adaptability to harsh environments. Stainless steel U-tube can be used for the heating of various liquids and acid and alkali salts, and also adapts to the heating and melting of metals with low solubility point (lead, zinc, tin, pasteurized alloy).
Characteristic of ASTM A213 TP316LStainless Steel U Bend Tube
316L stainless steel grade is an austenitic stainless steel containing molybdenum. 316L is more resistant to general corrosion and pitting and crevice corrosion than conventional chromium-nickel austenitic stainless steels such as 304.
316L stainless steel also offers higher creep, stress-rupture, and tensile strength at elevated temperatures. Recommended temperature ranges include -255°C to 605°C (-425°F to 1200°F).
In addition to excellent corrosion resistance and strength properties, alloys 316 and 316L chromium-nickel-molybdenum alloys also offer excellent manufacturability and malleability, which is typical of austenitic stainless steels, 316L is often used in marine environments.
