ASTM A182 F316L flange ASTM A182 F316L Flat welded flange, stainless steel flange with excellent metal characteristics and performance. Commonly used in steel parts, such as stainless steel flanges. Stainless steel flanges also become stainless steel acid-resistant steel flanges. Its metal surface is smooth, and it is not easy to produce air oxidation with gas. Therefore, it is often used for high pressure water pipes and corrosion of working pressure pipes. Here we share with you the characteristics of stainless steel flanges. First, as a metal material, it will reflect the gas under wet and cold conditions, and then change the original metal properties. However, stainless steel flanges can passivate with oxides and produce a strong layer of high-density chromium-rich metal oxide protective film Cr2O3 in appearance. Stainless steel flanges prevent further REDOX reactions. Other metal pipes, such as hot-dip galvanized water pipes, the passivation capacity of air conditioning copper pipes is smaller, which is the core reason why the characteristics of galvanized steel pipe air conditioning copper pipes are much lower than stainless steel pipes.

The expansion coefficient of the stainless steel flange pipe is similar to that of the air conditioning copper pipe, which is 1.5 times that of the carbon steel pipe. Compared with stainless steel flanges, stainless steel flanges have the characteristics of slow heat rise and slow contraction.
