ASTM A403 is a balanced, austenitic, chromium steel containing columbium which takes into consideration the end of carbide precipitation, and thus intergranular corrosion. ASTM A403 WP347 stainless steel butt-weld pipe fittings that are weldable onto the pipes they need to fit on. There are different types, forms and shapes of fittings available.
