Hot-dip galvanized steel strip is as flexible as our customers. Our material is produced in five hot-dip galvanizing lines in Linz with various zinc coatings, surface qualities and post-treatments such as oil, passivation or anti-fingerprinting. Delivered in coils as slit strip or cut shape
Production process
1. Pickling, derusting and decontamination of the entire coil of strip steel to achieve a bright and clean surface.
2. After pickling, it is washed in an ammonium chloride or zinc chloride aqueous solution or a mixed aqueous solution of ammonium chloride and zinc chloride, and then sent to a hot-dip galvanizing bath for hot-dip galvanizing.
3. After the steel strip is galvanized, it will be put into storage. The galvanized layer can be according to customer's requirements, generally not less than 500g / m2, and any sample should not be less than 480g / m2.
