Stone Mortar And Pestle Custom Size Mortar Grinder Polished Granite Stone And Pestle
Natural Solid Granite Mortar and Pestle is made from natural solid granite, polished outside of mortar and pestle, rough smooth inside of mortar and top of pestle. This design is perfect utensil for creating your own pestos or dressings from raw ingredients, it will make short work of even toughest of herbs, seeds, and spices. Granite allows for extraction of oils from herbs and spices and prevents them for absorbing into the stone.
It is food safe, fits with European and American health care standard. You can enjoy the crushing, grinding and mixing of herbs and spices.
Before first use
Put white 1/4 cup of rice into mortar, grind it into powder, check for stone debris. Repeat this process 1-3 times until the rice powder is free of stone debris. Hand wash mortar and pestle with warm water only and let it air try. Then is ready to use
How to use
Chop chosen ingredients into appropriately sized pieces that can fit in the mortar. Place ingredients in mortar, avoid overfilling mortar, grind in batches if necessary. One hand holds mortar steady, another hand holds pestle and grinding, use circular crushing motion to desired consistency. When grinding, keep fingers outside of mortar and away from pestle
Cleaning
To clean stone mortar pestle, hand wash recommended in hot water only without detergents, soaps or other cleaners, with plastic brush and allow to dry.
