1. General introduction
Cable protectors are extensively utilized for safeguarding cross couplings, tubings, safety valves, completions, fixings, well repairs, and gauge complications. These protectors are manufactured using precision casting techniques and top-quality materials to guarantee their reliability. Their sleek and streamlined design effectively prevents any damage during the dynamic movements of the production tubing, ensuring uninterrupted and accurate gauge complications. Thanks to their simple design, cable protectors can be rapidly installed without the need for separate parts or pins, minimizing the risk of hang-ups. Additionally, they can be easily uninstalled and reinstalled as needed.
To enhance durability, all cable protectors are equipped with double protection measures to resist corrosion effectively. The hinges of the protectors are spot-welded, ensuring enhanced overall integrity and strength of the product. The cable protectors feature a spring friction pad gripping system that provides a superior grip on the cables. With slip and rotation resistance, the protectors securely hold the cables in place. The gripping action is designed to be non-destructive, minimizing any potential damage to the conductors. Additionally, the design of the cable protectors aims to eliminate compression-related damages to the conductors, further ensuring their longevity and reliability.
3. Specifications:
The cable protectors are manufactured using either low carbon steel or stainless steel, providing excellent strength and corrosion resistance. They are available in two main types: cross-coupling protectors and mid-joint protectors, catering to different application needs.
These protectors are suitable for API tubing sizes ranging from 2 3/8" to 7", ensuring compatibility with a wide range of tubing dimensions. They can be configured to accommodate various cable shapes, including flat, round, or square cables, as well as other components like chemical injection lines and umbilicals.
For applications that require the separation of multiple lines, a multichannel design option is available. This design allows for effective organization and protection of multiple lines within a single cable protector.
To meet specific requirements, customization options are also available upon request. This ensures that the cable protectors can be tailored to fit unique project needs and specifications.
