Plunger Hollow Rod Piston Type Hydraulic Cylinder Single Acting for Snow Plow
DALLAST manufactures Hydraulic Cylinders for snow plows and snow equipment. In our standard line we offer 1 3/4" to 2 1/4" ram type cylinders. DALLST has various designs including a v-packing design with urethane wiper, chrome rod seal design and a heavy duty welded design to accommodate side loading in high shock applications. Custom and double acting cylinders are available on request.
Advantages:
1. Snap on glass filled bearings that absorb contaminants without damaging cylinder walls.
2. Nylon tipped set screws that conform to packing nut threads to decrease the probability of packing
nuts backing off.
3. Single-acting cylinders transfer force and motion in one direction only.
4. Acts on the piston to push the piston rod out.
5. Cylinder designs include welded and screwed type, welded and bolted, fully bolted or tie rod or can take the form of your drawing entirely.
Installation method:
The most commonly used mounting options are flange, trunnion, clevis, pin-eye, cross-tube, spherical, and tang. Cylinder mounting is chosen based upon the application’s requirements.

About piston rod:
High strength damage resistant piston rod provides 100,000 PSI minimum yield material in 1" through 4 1/2" diameters. Larger diameters vary between 50,000 and 75,000 PSI minimum yield material. All rods are case hardened to 50-55 RC and hard chrome plated to provide maximum wear life. Stainless steel is also available. The hard chrome plated of the piston rod according to your requirement.
