Hot retreading & Precure “cold” retreading
There are two techniques for retreading:
The Benefits of retreading are that it is both environmentally friendly and cost-efficient!
1. In cost aspect: The retreaded tire saves 50% at least compared to the new tire.
2. Reduced 70% oil consumption and 80% environmental pollution separately in the tire treating processes, extremely environmental protection.
2-1 When the tread has worn off, only about 20% of the tyre is used up. The carcass, which represents about 80% of the tyre’s value, can be re-rubberized for a “new tyre life”
2-2 To produce a truck or bus tyre requires about 60-80kg of rubber mixture. Retreading the tyre takes only about 15kg rubber. A considerable amount of raw materials can therefore be saved.
2-3. To produce a car tyre requires about 28L of crude oil. To retread a car tyre, only need 5.5L oil
