Metal crushers consist of the following main parts:
Crusher body: includes the frame and crushing chamber, carrying all other components.
Cutter or hammer: used to directly crush metal materials, usually made of high-strength alloy materials, with wear resistance.
Feed port: used to feed metal materials into the crusher.
Discharge port: the crushed metal materials are discharged through this port.
Motor: provides power for the crusher, usually connected to a reducer to increase torque.
Control system: used to monitor and control the crushing process to ensure safe and efficient operation of the equipment.
Working principle:
The metal material to be crushed is fed into the crusher through the feed port. The motor drives the cutter or hammer to rotate at high speed, and a strong impact, shearing and friction effect is generated between the cutter and the metal material, which quickly breaks the metal material into small pieces. The crushed metal fragments are discharged through the discharge port, which is usually equipped with a screen to control the size of the discharge particles. Small pieces of metal materials can be further processed, such as for smelting or reprocessing.
