Application
Ruicheng Aluminium offers more than 100 types of aluminium extrusions and multiple options for each, enhancing design flexibility in any lighting project. This gives architects and designers more flexibility and more ways to realise their vision.We supplies aluminium extrusions for under-bench lighting, corridor lighting, and office and reception lighting. Extrusions are available for recessed, suspended and surface mounted installation to suit virtually any lighting application.The LED extrusions take lighting design to the next level with options allowing for lights to be recessed into walls, ceilings and even in-floor.Pendant lighting models can also be customised at varying lengths to create amazing 3D effects for reception areas, breakout rooms or meeting spaces.Comprising of suspended up/down lighting extrusions, plaster-in trimless extrusions, suspended tubular extrusions, recessed flanged extrusions and surface mounted arched extrusions among many more, Ruicheng’s aluminium extrusion range is easy to install and can be supplied cut-to-length.
Feature
The extrusion made from high quality aluminum (also available in a double-anodized version) is designed for flexible or rigid LED strips that are 8 - 10mm wide. One of the accessories offered for the extrusion are covers that shade and protect LEDs inside the profile. There are few types of covers: cover K (frosted or transparent), HS (frosted or transparent) or clear focusing covers, which allow you to obtain a 60 degree light angle. Covers are made of polycarbonate. Standard polypropylene end caps, electricity -conductive end caps, and mounting brackets (made from steel, zinc or chrome finish) can be used for the extrusion as supplementary accessories. End caps protect the extrusion from dust and other undesirable elements, which can make LED strips dirty and consequently deteriorate the quality of their light output. The extrusion can be mounted to surfaces with the use of double sided adhesive tape or mounting brackets. The mounting bracket guarantees easy and secure mounting of the extrusion surface. They can also work as connector between two extrusions.
Use
Aluminium Extrusions for LED flexible strips provide excellent lighting for under counter-tops lighting. Our LED strip is thin, very bright and has a 3M tape adhesive for mounting to surfaces. As per some designers and electricians “spotting of LED lights” on shiny dark counter-tops such as Granite (and other similar reflective materials) can be eliminated by LED Aluminium Channels.Aluminum Profiles diffuser Lens in Opaque reduce or eliminate the spotting effect and most importantly, extend the life of the LEDs because the channel acts as a heat sink (although the strip produce little heat). Another added benefit is it protects the LED strip from splashes and makes cleaning the profile much easier. It is recommended to be used with LED strips.
