The mill has the following advantages:

1. High grinding efficiency and low grinding energy consumption. Compared with the traditional air-swept ball mill with the same scale output, the power consumption of grinding can save about 40-50% of electricity, especially in the case of high moisture content of the raw coal, the power saving is greater.

2. Large drying capacity. The vertical coal mill adopts air-swept operation. By adjusting the air temperature and air volume, it can grind and dry raw coal with a moisture content of up to about 20%. Especially in the cement production line, the drying heat source of the coal mill generally comes from the waste gas of the caster cooler ( About 200 ℃), the drying capacity of the air-swept ball mill is limited, and the vertical coal mill can use a large air volume to solve its high moisture drying requirements.

3. The particle size of the grinding material is large, which can reach about 5% of the diameter of the grinding roller. Generally used for coal mill of 2500t/d～6000t/d clinker production line, the feeding particle size can reach 50～80mm.

4. Good controllability of grinding. The residence time of the material in the vertical mill is only 0.5 to 2 minutes, and the qualified products in the mill can be separated in time, avoiding the phenomenon of over-grinding. The fineness of the product can be controlled by adjusting the rotor speed of the dynamic and static separator. And the fineness is stable and the particle size is uniform, which is conducive to the combustion of pulverized coal, and is very suitable for grinding inferior coal and anthracite.

5. The process flow is simple, the floor area is small, the building area is small, and it can be arranged in the open air. The vertical mill integrates the five processes of crushing, grinding, drying, powder selection and conveying. The process is simple and the layout is compact. 50 to 60%.

6. Low noise, less dust, and clean operating environment. The noise of the vertical mill is only 80-85dB (A sound level), which is 20-25dB (A sound level) lower than that of the ball mill. The system works under negative pressure, no dust is flying, and the operating environment is clean.

7. Less consumption of grinding body, long service life and high running rate. Because the HRM vertical mill is equipped with a limit device, there is no direct contact between the vertical grinding roller sleeve and the lining plate, the vibration amplitude of the mill is small, the life of the grinding body is long, and the operation rate is high.
