Definition
The agitating part of the conical double-spiral mixer is two asymmetric cantilever spirals; each length is one, they rotate around their own axis (rotation), and also surround the central axis of the conical container.
Planetary motion (revolution) is also made near the body wall surface; the device repeatedly raises the material through the male and the rotation of the spiral, and produces compound motions such as shearing, convection, and diffusion in the cone to achieve the purpose of mixing.

Working Principle
The rotating cantilevered (free hanging) mixing screw conveys the product from bottom of the vessel to the product surface. The mixing screw is suspended from orbital arm, which rotates the mixing screw along the conical inner vessel wall causing convective mixing of particles and shear.
