The energy consumption of the aerator is mainly related to two factors: oxygen utilization rate and air positive force. However, for different types of aerators, the ratio of oxygen utilization rate of clean water is not equal to the ratio of energy consumption of sewage. From clean water to sewage, the degree of change of oxygen utilization rate (i.e., α coefficient) is not the same for various aerators. The swirl and jet change less, while the micropores are larger. Tongxiang Shenhe Sewage Treatment Plant treats mixed sewage mainly composed of printing and dyeing wastewater. Imported microporous tubular aerators and double-nozzle swirl aerators are used before and after the aeration transformation. Through precise monitoring and analysis by the smart water system, the energy of the double-nozzle swirl is about 15% higher than that of the imported microporous new product in the first year. In the second year, the energy data began to flatten. The main reason is that the micropore α coefficient is large, and with scaling and clogging, the air resistance continues to rise. A sewage treatment plant in a certain industrial park in Yantai has a water depth of 7 meters. After using micropores for 4 years, the wind pressure rose to 90kpa, the energy consumption increased seriously, but the air output decreased seriously. When purchasing a new fan, it had to select a 100Kpa model. However, by using swirl, the wind pressure can be stably maintained within 80kpal for a long time.
Aeration refers to the process of forcibly transferring oxygen from the air to the liquid, with the purpose of obtaining sufficient dissolved oxygen. In addition, the purpose of agitating the suspended matter in the tank is to prevent it from sinking and to strengthen the contact between the organic matter in the tank and the microorganisms and dissolved oxygen. This ensures that the microorganisms in the tank can oxidize and decompose the organic matter in the sewage under the condition of sufficient dissolved oxygen.
