1. PHPA is short for partially hydrolyzed polyacrylamide.
2. BLUFLOC PHPA is a co-polymer of anionic character and high molecular weight water-soluble polymer, which is primarily used as a highly efficient fluid loss reducer, viscosifier and protective colloid for shale’s and cutting in fresh water, calcium, sodium brines and KCL mud systems. It is compatible with most of the drilling fluid products, biopolymers, PAC, CMC. It maintains borehole stability by preventing shale swelling and erosion.

5. Applicable in: shale stabilization, viscosities, friction reduction, fluid loss control and lubrication
6. Can also be used mud additive for EOR (Enhanced Oil Recovery) process to improve production of oil gas drilling chemical.
7. Safe, non-toxic, hydrolytic stability, is not sensitive to the change of pH value, anti-chlorine. Harmless, no-flammable and non-explosive, it can be stored at room temperature, it cannot be placed in the sun. It is slightly acidic, when skin contact, wash immediately with plenty of water.
Key Applications of PHPA:
Oil Field Recovery: PHPA is often used as a flooding agent in oil field recovery to enhance oil extraction. It increases the viscosity of the water phase, reduces the water-oil ratio, and improves the efficiency of oil recovery.
Drilling Muds: In drilling operations, PHPA is used as a treatment agent to reduce fluid loss, stabilize the borehole, and prevent wellbore collapse.
Wastewater Treatment: In wastewater treatment, PHPA acts as a flocculant, helping to aggregate suspended particles into larger clumps, making them easier to filter and settle.
PHPA's properties make it particularly effective in treating highly saline water and other complex water environments. Its excellent stability and long-lasting effects contribute to its widespread use.
