Magnesium lignosulfonate:

Lignosulfonate can be widely used in livestock breeding and special breeding of pigs, cattle, chickens, ducks, fish and shrimp. It can also be used as an additive and synergist for other special farming feeds. It can also be used as a granulation binder and antioxidant. Due to its strong reducibility, it can prevent and slow down the oxidation of feed, and it is highly soluble in water. It is a kind of polymer electrolyte with high molecular weight, and has the characteristics of good dispersion effect, strong resolution, strong adhesion and strong corrosion resistance. As mentioned earlier, due to its different molecular weight, different degree of dispersion, with water-soluble hydrophilic colloid properties, charged particles, is a surfactant, can be adsorbed on the surface of various solid particles. In addition, since it is a salt formed by strong acids, it can carry out ion exchange. Magnesium Lignosulphonate is a kind of natural polymer with strong dispersion. Due to the different molecular weight and functional groups, it has different dispersion. It is a surface active substance, which can be adsorbed on the surface of various solid particles and can carry out metal ion exchange. Because of the existence of various active groups in its structure, it can produce condensation or hydrogen bonding with other compounds. At present, the series products of lignosulfonate have been widely used in building admixtures, chemicals, pesticides, ceramics, mineral powder metallurgy, petroleum, carbon black, refractories, coal-water slurry dispersants, dyes and other industries at home and abroad.

Applications:

(1) Water reducing agent of concrete
Reduce more than 8% water consumption, improve the workability and wear of concrete, reduce the initial heat of hydration of cement.

(2) Additive of coal water slurry
If you add magnesium Lignosulphonate in the process of producing coal water slurry, it can increase the output of the mill, maintain the normalization of the system, reduce the power consumption, and improve the thickness of coal water slurry. In the process of gasification, it also can reduce oxygen and coal consumption, improve the efficiency of cooled coal gas and reduce the viscosity of coal water slurry to a certain extent so as to make it advantageous to reserve and transport.

(3) Filler and dispersant of pesticide

It can be used in the production of deflocculant, dispersant and bulking agent of pesticide to improve the suspensibility and wettability of wettable powder.

(4) Reinforcing agent of refractory material and ceramics

Usually, magnesium Lignosulphonate can make ceramic atom hard felted to build up the intensity of ceramics in the manufacturing process of wall brick and firebrick when the temperature is under 400 degree centigrade, and also can disappear automatically if the temperature is between 400 and 500 degree centigrade. When its volume is 0.2%-0.8% of the dry adobe material, the intensity of ceramic adobe can increase more than 20%-60%. But in the manufacturing process, the speed of temperature elevation cant be too fast in order to avoid spumescence of surface.

(5) Binder of powdery and granular materials

It can be used in the press of iron breeze, powered coal, sand mould of cast iron and steel, ground tile, etc. It has highest stability and intensity and also can lubricate matrixes.

(6) Dispersant and viscosity depressant

It can be used as dispersant and viscosity depressant in artesian well to ameliorate the fluidity of transportation of crude oil and reduce energy loss. It can also be used as purificant, dispersant, antirust, anlistatig of petrochemicals.
