Product Description
Energy storage stud welding is also called capacitance energy storage stud welding, capacitance discharge stud welding, etc. It is called energy storage welding for short.Before welding, store a specified amount of charge in the large capacitor in advance, and then release all the energy in the large capacitor (usually only 1-3ms) instantaneously through silicon controlled rectifier, so as to achieve the effect of instant welding.

Features
1. Continuously display the energy storage voltage, which is not affected by the fluctuation of input voltage, and can automatically adapt to the changes of power grid, with over temperature self-protection function.

4. Low heat generation, poor penetrability, little deformation of plates/shallow welding pool, no discoloration of the back, slight deformation or no deformation (depending on the thickness and surface finish of the workpiece, the degree of deformation varies).
5. It is suitable for welding on thin plates without worrying about welding through the workpiece, and the thinnest can be 0.3mm. It is rich in weldable materials. It can weld not only low carbon steel and stainless steel, but also aluminum, copper and other non-ferrous metals.

Welding Principle
Having the tip of the stud contacts the workpiece and pull the welding gun switch, then the energy storage capacitor is discharged through the tip of the element.
When it is ignited, a thin layer of molten metal is generated on the surface of the stud and the workpiece, and the penetration depth is about 0.1 mm.
The stud is inserted into the molten pool, the metal solidifies, and the screw is welded firmly.
Welding Operation
① The welding gun cable, control wire and welding ground wire shall be connected according to the drawing.
② Turn on the power switch.
③ Adjust the voltage adjusting knob clockwise to make the welding voltage display the voltage value you need.
④ Normal welding can be carried out after the welding indicator light is on.
Precautions
① The chuck consistent with the screw to be welded shall be selected;
② Ensure that the collet clamps the screws to be welded, and the internal thimble of the collet contacts the screws to be welded (if the collet is loose after a period of use, adjust the collet to clamp the screws to be welded);
③ Ensure that the welding gun, ground wire and other connections are tightly and reliably connected.
