Product Specification

On 31 October 2009, the European commission (the commission) published in its official gazette, OJ, a reformulation of the EUP directive (2005/32/EC), "establishing the framework for eco-design requirements for energy-related products" (ErP) (2009/125/EC), effective 20 days from the date of publication. The most significant change in the ERP directive (2009/125/EC) is the expansion of the energy-consuming Products in the original EUP directive into energy-related Products. However, other contents, such as the establishment method of implementation measures, have not changed much. The entry into force of the new ERP directive means that more products exported to the eu will be restricted by the directive, reminding relevant export enterprises to start as soon as possible and fully prepare for the directive.

ERP certification instruction

The birth of the eu EUP Directive (energy-using Product Directive, 2005/32/EC) represents the eu's concern for the environment, extending from the disposal of Product wastes to all stages of the Product life cycle. The scope of consideration includes design, production, packaging and transportation, use, and disposal, etc., and it is expected to reduce resource consumption and pollution emissions through a complete Product inspection. The European Council (EC) issued the 2009/125/EC eco-design directive on 21 October 2009 to replace the old 2005/32/E, thus expanding the scope of products from EUP: energy-using products to all energy-related products (ErP: energy-related products). The new version of the directive (ErP directive) will take effect from November 20, 2009.

ErP instruction is the new European CE mark code. As an CE mark instruction, ErP instruction requirements will be implemented in conjunction with other requirements such as safety gauges, electromagnetic compatibility, and radio.

Eu regulations: all electronic and electrical products sold in Europe must meet the requirements of ERP testing or ERP certification (energy saving requirements related to energy consumption in Europe)
