Galvalume Steel Coil(55% Aluminium-Zinc Alloy Coated Steel Coil)
Galvalume steel is also called Aluminum-Zinc Alloy Coated Steel, Zincalume steel, aluminized zinc steel (aluzinc steel), SGLC, The galvalume metal is composed of 55% aluminium, 43.4% zinc and 1.6% silicon solidified at 600 ~C. Its whole structure consists of aluminium-iron-silicon-zinc, forming a compact quaternary crystal alloy. The surface of the galvalume steel sheet is characterized by smooth, flat and gorgeous stars, and its base color is silver white. The special coating structure makes it have excellent corrosion resistance. The normal service life of galvalume steel sheet is up to 25a, and its heat resistance is good. It can be used in high temperature environment at 315 C. The adhesion between coating and paint film is good, and it has good processing performance. It can be punched, sheared and welded.

1,Corrosion resistance
Zinc is chemically active, in the air at room temperature, the surface generates a thin and dense film of alkaline zinc carbonate, which can prevent further oxidation, and aluminum in the air, can form an insoluble oxide layer, in which the barrier protection function; test in the same thickness, plating, surface treatment of hot-dip galvanized steel sheet and aluminized zinc steel sheet under the premise of. Aluminum zinc plating than hot-dip galvanizing has excellent corrosion resistance, service life is ordinary galvanized steel 2-6 times.
2)heat resistance
Ordinary hot-dip galvanized products are usually used at a temperature of not more than 230 degrees, 250 degrees will be discolored, while the aluminum zinc plate can be used for a long time in the environment of 315 degrees without discoloration.
3)Heat reflection
The ability of zinc aluminized to reflect heat and light is 2 times that of galvanized steel, with a reflectivity of more than 0.70, which is better than the 0.65 stipulated by the EPA Energy Star (U.S. Environmental Protection Agency Energy Star).
4)Mechanical Properties
Mechanical properties of zinc-aluminum-plated steel sheet is mainly manifested in the yield strength, tensile strength, elongation. Ordinary DC51D grade 150 g / square of galvanized steel, generally between 140-300mpa yield strength, tensile strength between 200-330, elongation between 13-25. And grade DC51D + AZ aluminum zinc plated 150g / square aluminum zinc plated steel yield strength between 230-400mpa, tensile strength between 230-550, elongation track between 15-45.
5)Economy
Because the density of 55% AL-Zn is smaller than that of Zn, so in the case of the same weight and the same thickness of the plating layer, the area of Aluminum Zinc Plated Steel Sheet is more than 3% larger than that of Galvanized Steel Sheet.
