Ammonium bifluoride is white needle-like crystal, easy deliquescence and agglomeration, soluble in water and slight soluble in alcohol; decompose to ammonia and ammonium bifluoride in heat water, decompose to ammonia and hydrogen fluoride when being heated, its aqueous solution is acidic and can corrode glass.
